Job summary

Hanover IL Operations LLC seeks a dedicated housekeeping associate for Harmony community in Mechanicsville, VA. You will clean common areas and apartments, operate laundry equipment, and report maintenance needs to the supervisor. Flexibility to work weekends/holidays is required.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and prior housekeeping experience. Abilities to follow verbal and written instructions and to work well with others are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Housekeeping experience is highly desired.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of the facility, including common areas and apartment bathrooms.
• Complete maintenance request reports as needed.
• Report deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to housekeeping supervisor.
• Operate laundry equipment when needed.
• Use approved cleaning products and store supplies properly.
• Clean office areas when assigned.
• Dust and clean window blinds, furniture, and resident apartments.
• Vacuum common areas and resident apartments; keep bathrooms clean.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintain resident privacy and follow policies on release of information.
