Numix is building the finance and tax infrastructure for startups in San Francisco. We are hiring a Community & Events Lead to cultivate the founder community around Numix, hosting intimate dinners and ecosystem events from concept to follow-up.

You’ll own guest lists, recruit founders, investors, and operators, and manage venues, logistics, programming, and follow-up. You’ll turn events into content, referrals, and pipeline while shaping partnerships across the startup ecosystem.

We combine software, AI agents, and financial experts to help founders with bookkeeping, tax, R&D credits, payroll, and CFO-level support.

We’ve grown heavily through founder referrals, partnerships, and community, and now we want to build that into a much bigger growth engine.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Community & Events Lead to build the founder community around Numix.

You’ll own intimate founder dinners, panels, ecosystem events, partnerships, and community programs from idea to follow-up.

This is not about getting the most RSVPs.

It’s about getting the right people in the room, creating conversations people remember, and turning those relationships into community, referrals, partnerships, and pipeline.

What You’ll Do

• Run intimate founder dinners and events end to end
• Build guest lists and personally recruit great founders, investors, and operators
• Manage venues, logistics, programming, seating, and follow-up
• Build recurring community programs people actually want to join
• Turn events into content, introductions, referrals, and pipeline
• Work with VCs, accelerators, law firms, banks, and startup communities on partnerships
• Track what works and continuously improve the event playbook

• You’re an exceptional host and event operator
• You know how to get busy founders and executives to show up
• You care more about who is in the room than how many people attend
• You write invitations and follow-ups people actually respond to
• You’re highly organized and comfortable owning every detail
• You understand startups, GTM, and the Bay Area founder ecosystem
• You’re comfortable working at early-stage speed without a playbook

Nice to Have

• 3+ years in events, community, partnerships, or field marketing
• Existing Bay Area startup network
• Experience working with founders, VCs, or accelerators
• Strong content, photo, or video instincts
• Experience with Luma, LinkedIn, Slack, Notion, CRM, or community tools
• Have been founders before
