Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for its Operations team in Richmond, Culpeper, Herndon, and Manassas, VA. This full-time, in-person role supports safety, schedule, and quality objectives on commercial projects across multiple Virginia locations.

You will oversee on-site crews, interpret drawings, enforce OSHA policies, and coordinate with office and field teams to meet project goals while mentoring associates and ensuring workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute contract requirements and support safety, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Enforce safety and OSHA compliance on site.

• Assign responsibilities and collaborate with office and field teams.
• Manage project site logistics and on-site activities for workflow.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to associates.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Perform other duties to ensure project success.
