Job summary

People Creating Success (PCS) is seeking a Community Based Support Professional to assist adults with developmental disabilities in Santa Barbara/Goleta. This part-time position runs Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, offering $20.25 per hour and a $10 monthly cell phone stipend.

Responsibilities include supporting participants at events, promoting independence, helping clients reach goals through person-centered planning, and encouraging active, meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• A compassionate, people-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• CPR/First Aid certification provided/training available if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support participants in volunteering, attending events, and exploring their community.
• Encourage and model independent living skills.
• Assist participants in meeting goals through person-centered planning.
• Encourage physical activity and engagement in meaningful activities.
• Be a dependable positive impact in their day-to-day life.
