The Job

Responsible for a range of basic office support and developing sales opportunities and achieving member enrollment goals for SCAN’s Institutional Special Needs Plan with the integrated care delivery. This individual will help maintain and analyze the integrity of all data collected from the integrated sales representatives. Passion for community engagement, team success, and professional growth. This role is designed for someone eager to be a key contributor in a fast-paced, impactful team.

You Will

  1. Field Support: Partner with sales representatives in the field to organize and execute CMS-compliant events. Take charge of event coordination, including setup and the distribution of marketing materials like flyers, ensuring maximum community engagement and visibility.
  2. Proactive Communication: Engage with communities, family members, and current members to resolve inquiries and foster strong relationships that drive retention and satisfaction.
  3. Application and Enrollment Support: Assist in the accurate and timely submission of enrollment applications, addressing administrative challenges with efficiency and attention to detail. Assist in originating new leads and community engagement follow ups.
  4. Plan Transfers and Conversions: Facilitate smooth member conversions and plan transfers, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
  5. Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate on sales and marketing campaigns, helping to execute strategies that align with organizational objectives and drive growth.

Compliance and Professional Licensing

  1. Licensure Maintenance: Maintain an active Health Producer License, staying up to date with all state and federal regulations, including CMS and MIPPA guidelines.
  2. Regulatory Adherence: Act as a compliance champion by adhering to all policies and procedures and serving as a resource for CMS marketing and sales requirements.

Professional Growth and Team Contribution

  1. Team Collaboration: Play an integral role in meeting team production goals, contributing to growth objectives, and lending support to related initiatives.
  2. Vision Alignment: Commit to the organization’s vision and goals, helping to create a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven team environment.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of sales experience preferably in Long Term Communities
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and/or nursing community dynamics.
  • Health Insurance Producer License
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with abilities to deliver presentations in an impactful manner.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Comfortable working in a Skilled Nursing Home and Long Term Care environment
  • Assertive self-starter who is able to influence others and make connections quickly.
  • Proven ability to work independently and productively in a remote office setting.
