Job summary

UPholdings, LLC is seeking a Service Coordinator in Chicago, IL to support affordable housing property management and foster a sense of community through events and light coordination.

You will liaise between residents, property management, and service providers, handling tenant intakes, maintenance coordination, and communications. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential; experience in housing or social services is preferred.

Qualifications

• The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; higher degrees are preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in affordable housing, property management, social services, or community development.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a passion for serving diverse populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in daily operations of affordable housing properties with regulatory compliance.
• Conduct tenant intakes, process applications, and maintain resident records.
• Handle resident inquiries related to leases, payments, and property maintenance requests.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs; report findings to the Property Manager.
• Organize and manage community events and activities to enhance resident engagement.
