Job summary

UPholdings seeks a Service Coordinator to support affordable housing properties in Chicago. You will assist the Property Manager with daily operations, tenant intake, and maintenance coordination while promoting resident engagement and community resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor's preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in affordable housing, property management, social services, or community development.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; passion for serving diverse populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in overseeing daily operations of affordable housing properties and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct tenant intakes, process applications, and maintain resident records.
• Handle resident inquiries related to leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
• Coordinate maintenance and inspections and report findings to the Property Manager.
• Connect residents with community resources and help with eligibility guidance.
• Organize community events, workshops, and seasonal activities to boost engagement.
• Create and distribute newsletters and maintain accurate documentation of interactions and updates.
• Support special projects as directed by the Property Manager.
