Job summary

Harris County seeks a Community Relations Liaison to support strategic partnerships, outreach, and daily division activities. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in community engagement or related field.
• Associate's degree preferred; substitution possible with relevant experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a key point of contact for community leaders, stakeholders, residents and customers.
• Plan Community Relations Outreach Programs and events for Precinct 2.
• Develop relationships with communities and external agencies.
• Attend meetings with neighborhood associations, Chambers of Commerce and City Council.
• Support precinct goals by raising community awareness of services and resources.
• Organize activities to promote the precinct through external partnered events.
