A leading nonprofit organization is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to represent their mission in Salem, Oregon. The role involves building partnerships, providing culturally responsive support to Afghan community members, and establishing a local office. The Afghan Support Network is the first culturally specific nonprofit organization formed to address the needs of Afghan refugees and the Afghan-American community in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Location: Remote – Based in Salem, OR
Term: Full Time, Exempt
Salary: $57,000 – $62,000 Annually
The Afghan Support Network is dedicated to supporting Afghan refugees and the Afghan-American community through culturally responsive programs and services.
The Community Engagement Manager will serve as the primary representative of ASN in Salem, responsible for expanding ASN’s presence, building partnerships, and providing culturally responsive support to Afghan community members. This role involves developing community relationships, supporting the establishment of a Salem office, and delivering client services.
