The Alzheimer's Association is seeking a Community Engagement Manager, DE&I in Purchase, NY to lead the implementation of its Community Program Offerings and expand outreach to underrepresented communities. You will recruit, coach and oversee volunteers, partner with diverse groups and drive cross‑functional collaboration to advance care, advocacy and education.
This grant-funded role requires strong leadership, relationship-building, and ability to travel up to 60% within the territory.
As Community Engagement Manager, DE&I, you join an exclusive team of leaders responsible for the implementation of the Alzheimer’s Association Portfolio of Community Program Offerings. The Portfolio brings awareness, education and support to all communities in the United States and activates a grassroots network of individuals and community leaders to work toward a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
Utilizing your proven leadership, networking and relationship building skills to cultivate key community connections, you will drive success and expand the reach of our community offerings by strategically identifying and engaging community partners and activating and empowering volunteers, especially in new, underrepresented and rural communities. The position not only manages and supports their team but also actively contributes to day‑to‑day work and deliverables
