Job summary

Chloeta is seeking a Facilitation and Community Engagement Specialist to support post-storm recovery operations across forests in North Carolina. The role coordinates meetings, events, and collaborative activities to advance a comprehensive POW, including road maintenance, hazard removal, trail clearing, and related infrastructure work.

The position requires strong facilitation, organizational, and communications skills to plan workshops, manage hybrid meetings, and support VIP visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Forestry, Emergency Management, Public Administration, Communications, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience coordinating, facilitating, and supporting coordination, facilitation, or related work.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders and project team members.
• Schedule meetings, draft agendas, document minutes, and track action items.
• Plan workshops with Forest Service partners and diverse stakeholders.
• Manage in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings and support large audiences.
• Prepare handouts, maps, and agendas for attendees and VIP visits.
• Support VIP visits, field tours, and community events for forest recovery projects.
