Childrens Home Society of Florida in Tampa, FL is seeking a Family & Community Engagement Coordinator to connect families, schools and community partners and link children and families with resources and opportunities that help them thrive.

If you’re a natural relationship-builder who enjoys bringing people together and turning ideas into meaningful community engagement, this could be the role for you.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree or in progress, based on applicable position requirements.
• One to three years of combined experience across at least two areas: education, human services and/or community outreach.
• Florida Driver’s License within 30 days of hire.
• Daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Engage families and communities; implement outreach strategies.
• Develop relationships with families, school staff, community organizations and leaders.
• Identify family needs through outreach, phone calls, and home visits.
• Create targeted engagement opportunities that encourage new families to participate.
• Coordinate educational opportunities for families and community members.
• Address language barriers during meetings, home visits, and school or community activities.
• Track family and community participation, events and volunteer engagement.
• Arrange or provide transportation when needed.
