Donor Network of Arizona is seeking a Community Engagement & Communications Manager (Marketing) to lead strategic communications, branding and outreach across Arizona. You will guide a high-performing team, drive donor registry growth and manage multimedia campaigns that inspire Arizonans to register as organ and tissue donors.

The role oversees events, media relations and partnerships with community organizations, balancing brand standards with mission-driven storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 4 years of experience in marketing, public relations and/or communications.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, coaching, performance management and professional development for Community Engagement & Communications team members.
• Oversee department workflows, priorities, training and staff development for strategic initiatives.
• Manage communications, branding and marketing activities ensuring consistency with the organization's mission and brand standards.
• Oversee creation and distribution of marketing materials including digital content, social media, newsletters, presentations and media relations.
• Serve as a member of the media and crisis communications response team.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with community organizations, volunteers and stakeholders.
• Lead planning and execution of signature events and community outreach activities.
• Identify opportunities to increase public awareness of donation and donor registration across Arizona.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to implement programs that increase donor registrations.

About the Community Engagement & Communications Manager role

Join Donor Network of Arizona and help save and heal lives through organ and tissue donation. As the Community Engagement & Communications Manager, you will lead strategic communications, marketing, community outreach, donor registry growth initiatives and events that inspire Arizonans to register as organ and tissue donors. This role is responsible for developing meaningful community partnerships, overseeing communications and branding strategies, and leading a high-performing team dedicated to advancing the organization's mission.

The Community Engagement & Communications Manager serves as a key leader within the Community Engagement & Communications department and is responsible for driving awareness, engagement and donor registration efforts across Arizona.

• Provides leadership, coaching, performance managementand professional development for Community Engagement & Communications team members.
• Oversees department workflows, priorities, training, competencies and staff development to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.
• Manages communications, brandingand marketing activities, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment with Donor Network of Arizona's mission and brand standards.
• Oversees the creation and distribution of marketing and communication materials, including digital content, social media, newsletters, presentations, media relations, photography, videoand other multimedia projects.
• Serves as a member of the organization's media and crisis communications response team.
• Develops, manages and strengthens relationships with community organizations, volunteers, multicultural groups, workplace partnersand other stakeholders.
• Leads the planning and execution of signature events, community outreach activities and other initiatives.
• Identifies opportunities to increase public awareness of donation and encourage donor registration throughout Arizona.
• Oversees the Arizona Donor Registry, including registry initiatives, data accuracy, issue resolutionand registration growth strategies.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to develop and implement programs that increase donor registrations and support organizational goals.
• Champions Donor Network of Arizona's mission, visionand values while fostering a collaborative and service-oriented culture.
