Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years in community relations, marketing, employee engagement, event management, or public relations.
• Demonstrated experience building partnerships with community organizations, nonprofits, and business groups.
• Strong event planning and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local chambers of commerce, business leaders, and community stakeholders.
• Build and manage partnerships with community organizations, nonprofit groups, and charitable initiatives.
• Evaluate, recommend, and coordinate sponsorship opportunities to maximize community impact and brand visibility.
• Plan and execute community events, health fairs, grand openings, networking opportunities, and local partnership activities.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen RMI's reputation and community presence across markets.
• Represent RMI at community meetings, events, and industry functions.
• Track and measure the effectiveness of community engagement initiatives and partnerships.
• Partner with People Operations to develop and coordinate employee events and engagement initiatives.
• Organize company meetings, appreciation events, team-building activities, and volunteer opportunities.
• Support internal communications that reinforce organizational values and culture.
