Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to prevent crime and enforce laws and ordinances.
• Intervene in on-view criminal activity and address disorder.
• Develop and implement community problem-solving plans with partnerships.
• Provide personalized and decentralized police service to neighborhoods.
• Issue citations, warnings, or notices to appear for violations.
• Make arrests and serve warrants, and respond to radio dispatches.
• Collect evidence, prepare reports, and participate in prosecutions.
• Attend court appearances and cooperate with external agencies.
