Responsibilities

• Performs responsible law enforcement and community policing duties to protect life and property, enforce laws and ordinances, and maintain public safety.
• Responds to calls for service, conducts investigations, makes arrests, issues citations, collects evidence, prepares reports, and testifies in court.
• Provides visible patrol and targeted traffic enforcement, assists the public, and addresses community concerns through collaboration.
• Maintains partnerships with residents and businesses; participates in training and special assignments; adheres to policies and safety rules.
