Job summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources seeks a motivated Supported Education and Employment (SEE) Specialist to serve Harrison, Hancock, Stone, and Pearl River Counties. The role builds education and employment pathways for clients using NAVIGATESEE models, creating individualized plans and coordinating with treatment teams.

The SEE Specialist conducts school and job searches, develops opportunities, and maintains community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, social services, or business field.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Must obtain Class D CDL within 60 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation to provide community services.
• At least one year experience working with mental health population preferred.
• Experience working in a career services field preferred.
• Independent work ability required.

Responsibilities

• Designs goals and plans that are based on each individual's preferences, strengths, abilities, and experiences.
• Provides vocational assessments, counseling, job placement assistance, and follow up for these services.
• Coordinates marketing efforts in the community to obtain job opportunities for participants.
