Communities of Transformation in Alabama seeks an AmeriCorps VISTA to design, implement, and oversee programs aimed at reducing poverty and improving economic opportunities in Mobile County. The role focuses on culturally appropriate strategies for the Hispanic community and close collaboration with local partners.

You will work full-time, gain hands-on experience in program development, and contribute to long-term community empowerment through data-driven planning and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Education level: Some college
• Languages: English and Spanish
• Age requirements: Minimum 18, no maximum

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement the COT-Mobile County Community Development Model in Mobile County.
• Establish strong relationships with partner organizations and families.
• Identify benchmarks aligned with short-term goals and measure progress.
• Collaborate with the team to process, evaluate, and launch programs.
