Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living provides compassionate transportation services for seniors, ensuring safety and comfort on every trip. As a Driver, you will transport residents to appointments and outings, assist them in and out of vehicles, and uphold vehicle safety standards.

The role emphasizes safe driving, regular vehicle inspections, and accurate logs. Candidates should have a HS Diploma or GED, a valid license, CPR as required, and strong communication and time management skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED; age 21+
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• CPR certification (as required)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment
• Complete required driving logs and documentation

Pay Range:

18.92 - 23.65
