Goodwill Industries of Tenneva is recruiting Retail Sales Associates to join our mission-driven team in a fast-paced store environment.

You will greet customers, operate the POS system, process donations, stock merchandise, and help keep the store clean and organized for an enjoyable shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and POS skills are required.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to take initiative.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior retail, donation processing, or cash-handling experience a plus.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 35 pounds throughout a shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous service to all customers and donors.
• Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) system accurately and efficiently.
• Work in any area of the store as needed, including receiving/sorting donations, tagging/pricing, processing donated items, and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace on the sales floor and in back areas.
• Follow all procedures for inventory flow and adhere to safety, security, and payment policies.
• Participate in team meetings and support store goals through teamwork and positive communication.
