Qualifications

• Must be 20.5 years old by eligible register certification date; 21 years old by commissioning date.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid Washington State Driver license within 30 days of hire and maintain it during employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas by foot, bike, motorcycle, or automobile.
• Protect life and property through enforcement of state and municipal codes, regulations, and ordinances.
• Contribute to community-oriented policing and partner with the community to enhance quality of life and reduce crime.
