City of St. Cloud Police Department seeks full-time Police Officers to protect life and property, patrol streets, investigate incidents, and engage with the community with integrity.

Candidates must graduate high school or GED, hold FDLE Basic Law Enforcement Academy Certification, be at least 20, and possess a valid Florida driver license with a clean driving record. Shifts vary.

Formación

• Requires High School graduation or GED.
• Requires Florida FDLE Basic Law Enforcement Academy Certification.
• Must be minimum 20 years of age.
• Maintenance of a valid State of Florida Driver License with acceptable driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Performs law enforcement patrol activities including vehicle and person checks, investigations, arrests, and riot control as required.
• Conducts investigations, collects evidence, interviews witnesses, and testifies in court as needed.
• Performs public interaction and community engagement activities and responds to incidents, including first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Performs traffic-related duties, enforces traffic laws, issues citations, and directs traffic as required.
