Job summary

Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska in White Cloud, KS is seeking a Patrol Officer to safeguard the community through law enforcement, patrol operations, investigations and active community engagement.

The role enforces tribal, federal, and applicable state laws while supporting emergency response and crime prevention. You will patrol tribal properties, respond to calls, and build trust through professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from a certified law enforcement academy or equivalent training.
• Must be at least 21 years of age at appointment.
• No felony or domestic violence convictions.

Responsibilities

• Patrol duties on assigned shifts.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents.
• Patrol Tribal properties including Casino White Cloud and community areas.
• Enforce tribal laws and regulations.
• Maintain visibility to deter crime and protect the community.
• Conduct preliminary investigations and prepare reports.
• Collect evidence and witness statements.
• Assist with arrests, citations, and court documentation.
• Support public safety during events and engage with community members.
