Job summary

Park Vista is seeking a Community Director to oversee operations at Willow Lane Assisted Living. The role focuses on leadership, staffing, budget management, and ensuring quality resident care and engagement.

Responsibilities include partnering with the Regional Executive Director, guiding hiring and training, and maintaining regulatory compliance while driving budgeted goals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Executive Director on short- and long-term community planning, supporting change-management initiatives.
• Lead in hiring, recruiting, training, coaching, developing, motivating employees and performance management across all areas.
• Drive resident engagement and retention by ensuring smooth operation and timely resolution of grievances from residents, families and staff.
• Provide on-site leadership, mentoring and training to the team of Directors.
• Assess and manage staffing levels to meet occupancy needs while adhering to budgetary requirements and fiscal health.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales & Marketing Director to meet or exceed budgeted monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Oversee property budgets and review monthly spend reports for all departments.
• Partner with HR on employee-related matters including performance, disciplinary and termination matters.
• Monitor building and facilities needs to ensure safety and a pleasant living experience for residents.
• Audit state compliance and licensure, maintain resident and employment files, grounds and building standards.
• Involved in state reports and investigations and leading the team towards solutions.
• Ensure 24/7 on-call coverage or rotation with DON/Maintenance Directors and other Director team members.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management.

JOB TITLE: Community Director

COMMUNITY DIRECTOR SALARY: $56,000 annual salary based on experience and education

COMMUNITY DIRECTOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Partners with the Regional Executive Director on short and long-term planning for the community, including supporting and implementation of change management initiatives.
• Responsible for leadership in areas of hiring and recruiting, training, coaching, developing, motivating employees and performance management across all functional areas.
• Enhances and drives resident and engagement and retention by fostering a smooth functioning, efficient operation through the timely and effective resolution of grievances from residents, families and/or staff.
• Provide regular on-site support, leadership and mentoring and training to the team of Directors.
• Assess and manage staffing levels appropriate to occupancy to ensure needs of community and residents are met while adhering to budgetary requirements / fiscal health of the community.
• In collaboration with the Regional Sales & Marketing Director, ensures the team has clear expectations, monitors and maintains accountability to support the day-to-day sales activities and initiatives to meet or exceed budgeted monthly goals and metrics.
• Oversee property budgets and review monthly budgets and spenddown reports for all departments maintaining fiscal responsibility.
• Partners with the Regional Executive Director and Human Resources regarding employee related matters including but not limited to performance, disciplinary and termination matters.
• Responsible for monitoring building and facilities needs to ensure safety and a pleasant living experience for residents.
• Audit for state compliance and requirements and maintain licensure of resident and employment files, physical grounds and building standards.
• Involved in self-reports, state complaints, investigations and leading team towards solution.
• Ensure 24/7 coverage for any urgent need or emergency – on-call personally or establish on-call rotation/delegation with DON/Maintenance Directors/other members of Director team.

• Other duties as assigned by management verbally and/or written.
