Job summary

Apartment Management Professionals (AMP) seeks an experienced Community Director to lead our Austin-based apartment community, driving occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.

You will recruit and coach an onsite team, collaborate with HR and Regional Leadership on staffing, onboarding, and performance management, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and all regulations while upholding AMP’s high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of multifamily property management experience.
• Experience leading onsite teams and coordinating with HR/Regional leadership.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the community to drive occupancy and financial performance.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing onsite team.
• Oversee leasing, rent collection, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and monitor operating budgets and reporting.
• Maintain tenant satisfaction and strong vendor relationships.
