Job summary

HarborChase, LLC. is seeking a dining services associate to deliver prompt, pleasant service to residents in dining rooms and during activities. You will help maintain dining areas, assist with food preparation, and ensure safety and cleanliness in all related spaces.

This role requires interaction with residents, families, and staff, while upholding health and safety standards and dietary accommodations as needed.

Qualifications

High school education or GED required.
Minimum of one year experience in front-of-house operations.
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts
Knowledge of OSHA regulations
Knowledge of state food-handling and kitchen regulations
Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens
Must have patience, tact, and cheerful disposition

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, pleasant, and efficient service to residents in dining rooms and during activities.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of dining rooms and waitress stations.
Assist with food and supply preparation and proper dining setup.
Distribute and store clean dishes; mop floors as directed.
Practice safe, sanitary food handling and infection control guidelines.
Report potential safety hazards and participate in safety procedures.
Provide coverage for other dining staff as needed.
