Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a friendly dining associate to serve community meals to seniors and package meals for home delivery. You will be the first point of contact for customer relations and help create a climate of support for the service in the community.

This role offers a flexible schedule with no weekends and plays a significant role in the local community by engaging with diners and volunteers to promote a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow verbal instructions.
• Six months to one year of full-time equivalent experience in group leadership activities and working with older adults in a host/hostess role or comparable food service experience.
• Must possess creativity and knowledge of public relations to create a positive image of the agency.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve community dining from bulk to seniors and package meals for home delivery.
• Be the first point of contact for customer relations, follow up on concerns.
• Engage with diners and volunteers to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
