Yona is seeking a cook to join the team and help provide warm and friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers. You will prepare meals safely, follow standardized recipes, and work under the food services director to deliver quality dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook in a food service setting.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal preparation instructions.
• Capable of operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Good physical condition and stamina.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food according to the menu under the guidance of the food services director.
• Ensures proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods per recipes.
• Cooks quality food products according to menus and recipes.
• Adheres to safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepares food in a timely manner at meal times.
• Cleans food service equipment, kitchen and storage areas.
