Job summary

Health Partners of Western Ohio is seeking a Dental Director to lead and expand primary and preventive dental care across community health centers. You will supervise the dental staff, develop clinical protocols, and advise the CEO on dental strategy.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, quality improvement, and collaboration with executive leadership to ensure integrated oral health services within the organization. Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental school is required.
• Completion of an accredited general practice residency program is preferred.
• CPR-BLS (Basic Life support) required.
• Knowledge of public health principles and practices.
• Minimum five years clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead dental team and oversee examination and treatment planning.
• Document patient-dentist transactions accurately in records.
• Develop, implement, and update dental policies and protocols.
• Coordinate with COO and Center Directors for dental support.
• Prepare monthly reports on dental issues and program status.
• Mentor and train dental staff and oversee budget compliance.
