AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Community Dental Home Educator to lead oral health education for students and community members in an in-person setting.

You will help connect participants with dental school-based programs and work with the Field Operations team to run diverse education sessions on dental topics. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, a health-science degree or related field, and a valid BLS certificate; bilingual skills are a plus to serve the diverse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Science or related field with emphasis in Community Health Education preferred, or 5 years related experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish/Vietnamese/Mandarin) preferred.
• Valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate oral health education for students and community members.
• Support linkage of care to dental school-based programs.
• Collaborate with Field Operations to conduct dental education classes on various topics.
