The CCS Clinician works within the Adult CCS component of the Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC). They are primarily responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, including the use of standardized assessment tools for suicide risk, brief crisis counseling, individualized risk management and safety planning, psychoeducation, discharge planning, and care coordination.
In this role, the Clinician will:
The CCS Clinician should have a sound understanding of Human Behavior in the Social Environment, mental illness, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and clinical interventions to support persons served effectively.
