Kinexus Group in Michigan is seeking a Community Coordinator to build and coordinate relationships with county and state agencies, nonprofits, and employers to support re-entry and employment outcomes. We facilitate the reentry process for the Offender Success Program, ensuring all services meet Michigan Department of Corrections policies, procedures, and financial requirements.
This position involves building and coordinating relationships with a broad array of community stakeholders across Berrien, Cass, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Saint Joseph, Branch, and Calhoun counties. The goal is to create a safety net of support and re‑employment services for individuals returning from Michigan State correctional institutions. Key responsibilities include building sub‑grantee capacity, analyzing and negotiating contracts, monitoring vendor performance, resolving service delivery issues, acting as liaison to MDOC Parole Offices, managing budgets, and coordinating activities to improve employment outcomes and reduce recidivism rates.
The Community Coordinator is a key player within the Offender Success Team and will be given the tools and support necessary to perform all functions of the position with excellence.
