Job summary

The Neighborhood at Paducah in Paducah, KY is seeking a Cook to join our food service team. The Cook will be responsible for all food preparation to meet quality, quantity, and service standards for the community.

They report to the Food and Beverage Director and will handle production in the absence of leadership. Duties include following approved recipes, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• One year job related experience including food preparation and therapeutic diets.
• Maintains SERV Safe certificate or able to participate to become SERV Safe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus and approved recipes.
• Maintain sanitation of food service areas and record keeping.
• Operate dish machine and sanitize dishes and cookware.
• Monitor food quality and temperatures; adjust as needed.
• Follow safety policies and comply with regulations.
