Qualifikationen

• BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• Generally, 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in community engagement or related fields.

• Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders to understand priorities.
• Gather and communicate insights to leadership to inform coverage and decisions.
• Identify story opportunities and connect journalists with trusted sources.
• Serve as primary community liaison with civic, nonprofit, business, and government groups.
• Represent the station and cultivate partnerships for long-term value.
• Ensure timely, professional responses to audience inquiries and concerns.
• Plan and execute forums, town halls, and public-service initiatives.
• Collaborate with News, Sales, Marketing and leadership to strengthen community impact.
• Oversee event logistics, stakeholder coordination, and measurement of engagement.
• Develop a market-wide community engagement strategy aligned with priorities.
• Advise leadership on needs and opportunities to strengthen trust.
