Job summary

North Central West Virginia Community Action Association is seeking a Community Collaborative Classroom (CCC) Assistant Teacher to assist in implementing program plans under the guidance of the Teacher. The role requires support in daily classroom activities and is designed for full-time or part-time work.

Job description

Community Collaborative Classroom (CCC) Assistant Teacher or Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting in implementation of service areas as outlined in the Program Plans under the guidance of the Teacher.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, drive an automobile, talk, and hear. The employee must be able to occasionally lift, carry, or assist children weighing up to 50 pounds.

License/Training/Certification

An agreement must be signed to obtain a Temporary or Permanent Authorization and complete one of the above credentials within 2 years.
