Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year experience involving land use regulations and intensive public contact is desirable.
• Oregon Driver's License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to citizen complaints about violations and work with citizens to resolve complaints.
• Perform field investigations and inspections to ascertain whether land use, nuisance abatement, building inspection, engineering, noise, or other ordinances are being violated.
• Meet with alleged violators of ordinances and attempt to achieve compliance.
• Undertake enforcement actions in accordance with law and county ordinances.
• Prepare correspondence and documentation of violations by researching records and documentation.
