Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a Store Cashier to deliver excellent customer service at the register. You will ring up sales, greet donors, and guide customers across the store with a courteous, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail and/or cashiering experience is highly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and beginner knowledge of touch screen cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Ring up all sales transactions at the cash register.
• Direct customers and donors to the proper area and provide information as requested.
• Ensure customers receive correct change and receipts; handle transactions per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized register area and assist with stocking and recovery.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and follow etiquette procedures.
