Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking an Experienced Store Cashier in Fern Park, FL. You will provide excellent customer service, operate the cash register, greet customers and donors, and ensure accurate transactions in a retail environment.

Responsibilities include processing sales, giving correct change, assisting with stocking, and maintaining a clean register area. Prior cashiering experience and basic computer skills are preferred; must be 18+ with High School or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail and/or cashiering experience is highly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and beginner knowledge of touch screen cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Ring up all sales transactions and operate the cash register.
• Direct customers to proper areas and provide general information as requested.
• Ensure correct change and receipt for purchases.
• Assist sales floor staff with stocking and recovery.
