Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in recreation management, physical education or related field; two years recreation supervision experience.
• Texas Class C driver's license or equivalent may be required; aquatic roles require lifeguard, Lifeguard Management, and CPO within six months.
• Experience planning, organizing and implementing recreational activities for diverse population groups.
• Ability to prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and oversee facility maintenance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and coordinate daily recreation programs.
• Plan and implement activities for recreational and aquatic programs.
• Schedule spaces, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and manage room setups.
• Prepare reports, forms, payroll docs, and maintain records.
• Represent the department at meetings and liaise with community organizations.
