Job summary

The Greater Vallejo Recreation District is seeking a part-time Community Center Monitor to help prepare centers for public use, monitor activities, assist renters, and provide information to patrons. Candidates should have custodial and customer service experience and be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include setting up rooms, assisting with equipment, enforcing regulations, and performing basic office tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year general custodial and customer service experience.
• Graduation from High School or equivalent.
• Proof of legal right to work in the U.S.
• TB Test and background requirements upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rooms are clean and set up/take down of tables and chairs.
• Assist renters, visitors, and tenants with equipment setup and service requests; secure facility for opening/closing and alarm as required.
• Monitor scheduled activities and enforce District regulations; assist user groups and provide emergency assistance as needed.
• Inspect building and perform custodial functions.
• Handle office duties: phone, rental information, forms/reports, tours, and registrations.
• Operate CivicRec registration program and process payments for classes/events.
