The position is full-time, on-site in Chamblee, GA, with responsibilities including reporting, inventory management, and collaboration with veterinary staff to support placement and care. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Compassion for animals and people; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
• Experience in animal-related fields or shelter work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cat intakes and diversion, including stray intakes and owner surrender conversations.
• Assess behavior and monitor new cat intakes; document changes.
• Safely handle feral and domestic cats with compassion; update kennel cards and photos.
