Job summary

Community Counseling Center in Marble Hill, MO seeks a dedicated Community Support Specialist to deliver services to CPRC clients. You will coordinate mental health support, assess client progress, and link resources with community partners.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or higher, MO driver’s license, and willingness to travel. You’ll manage a 20–25 client caseload, perform home visits, and collaborate with the treatment team to reduce crisis risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from accredited university.
• Any four-year combination of higher education and qualifying experience.
• Four years of qualifying experience.
• Valid Driver's License - MO Class E (Class D for IL) and current auto insurance.
• Travel in own vehicle is required.
• Qualifying experience must include delivery of service to individuals with mental illness, substance abuse disorders, or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide community support services to children and adult clients enrolled in CPRC program.
• Maintain a caseload as assigned including in the community and during hospitalizations.
• Maintain direct services productivity in accordance with assigned caseloads.
• Maintain positive attitude toward agency and clientele.
• Maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and staff members.
• Provide training/education to clients in daily living skills.
• Monitor completion of treatment plan goals and objectives and maintain contact with treatment team in regard to progress and any concerns.
• Refer to appropriate resources within the community to assist clients in maintaining/improving their functionality and to develop a personal support system.
• Responsible for transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements.
• Successfully complete DMH approved Wellness Coaching training through the Relias Learning platform.
• Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
