Job summary

Benefis Health System is hiring for a Home Medical Equipment delivery role in Great Falls, MT. The incumbent will educate patients and caregivers on home oxygen equipment, hospital beds, and related devices, ensuring precise documentation at delivery and addressing equipment concerns on-site.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid Montana driver’s license, with preference given to those with factory training in home medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and educates patients and caregivers on oxygen equipment, hospital beds, and other equipment used at home.
• Ensures all proper documentation is completed at the time of delivery.
• Troubleshoots equipment concerns with patients or caregivers, and repairs/reprocesses equipment in the Home Medical Equipment store.
• Demonstrates ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and manage varying situations.

Delivers and educates patients and caregivers on oxygen equipment, hospital beds, and other equipment that is instrumental in allowing patients to safely remain at home. Makes sure all proper documentation is completed at the time of delivery and troubleshoots any equipment concerns with the patient or caregiver, repairs and replaces equipment in the home as necessary, and assists with repairing or reprocessing equipment at the Home Medical Equipment store. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health system organization policies and procedures.
