The Outreach Team in Corpus Christi, TX is hiring Community Canvassers and Team Leaders to support voter outreach. The role runs through Election Day with shifts 11AM–7PM, full-time or part-time.

Compensation starts at 24/hour for canvassers and 26/hour for team leads, with overtime, driver and shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and referral bonuses. You'll engage the public, collect survey data via a voter app, participate in training, follow safety protocols, and help manage and equip

Community Canvassers and Team Leaders
Hiring Immediately - $24-26/hr + bonuses
Full-time & Part-time

Help us turn out voters in Texas to get out the vote and win! Grassroots efforts are ramping up and we are looking for a team of canvassers to help us reach voters who deserve a voice in this election. From now through Election Day, our team is connecting directly with voters on the ground to triple their impact. Canvassers will stop people in busy public locations, encourage them to vote, and walk them through a process of reaching out to 3 of their friends to encourage them to do the same. Each interaction is the opportunity to triple voter turnout, so all Texans have the opportunity to make their voices heard.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Get paid well! Canvassing positions start at $24/hour. Team Lead positions start at $26/hour. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals.

Locations: Corpus Christi, TX

We are hiring immediately, all positions run through November 3 with possibilities for advancement afterwards. Shifts run from 11AM - 7:00 PM 7 days a week with the possibility to work part-time or full-time.

• The Canvasser Responsibilities plus:
• Manage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically throughout the day, and debriefing with them at the end of the day
• Ensure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be successful
• Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work

• Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone
• Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible
• Tech competent, and able to navigate multiple apps on your phone while maintaining conversations with voters.
• Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community
• Prior canvassing experience is preferred, but not required
