Job summary

First Interstate Bank seeks a Community & Business Banker to deliver personalized client service, manage consumer and business accounts, and process loan requests. You will identify referral opportunities across banking lines and build long-term relationships with clients and prospects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers personalized client service in person and over the phone, answering questions and offering solutions.
• Opens and maintains a variety of accounts and products including checking, savings, IRAs, CDs, credit cards, and loans.
• Processes loan requests for consumer and small business clients.
• Holds financial conversations to determine needs and provide solutions.
• Identifies referral opportunities to Home Loans, Treasury Solutions, Merchant Services, Business Banking, and Wealth Management.
• Builds client relationships through outbound engagement and proactive outreach.
• Performs teller duties and processes a range of financial transactions.
• Ensures accuracy and compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Participates in volunteer activities and financial education efforts.
• Stays current on regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
