Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Community Driver at Alpine Way to transport residents to medical appointments, stores, and social events, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the ride.

You will perform basic vehicle maintenance, build relationships with residents and families, and work weekends and varying shifts in a mission-driven environment that values wellness and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and if operating a large bus of sixteen or more passengers, must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Reliable transportation and dependable for showing up on time.
• Compassionate individuals with a positive attitude, willing to offer physical assistance as needed.
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from medical appointments, stores, banks, scenic drives and social events.
• Perform or assist in routine preventive maintenance procedures on the vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
• Is subject to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts.
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living.

As aCommunity Driver with Alpine Way, as part of the Life Enrichment Department you’re responsible for transporting our residents to a variety of locations and ensuring that their ride with you is as comfortable as possible.

What we look for in a Community Driver:

• Must be at least 21 years old and if operating a large bus of sixteen or more passengers, must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL)

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time

What you can expect to do as a Community Driver:
