Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Community Driver at Alpine Way to transport residents to medical appointments, stores, scenic drives and social events, ensuring their rides are comfortable, secure and respectful.

You will work closely with the Life Enrichment Department, perform routine vehicle checks, and establish positive relationships with residents, families and staff while upholding Cascade Living's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• CDL required for large buses (16+ passengers).
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Compassionate with a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to medical appointments, stores, and events.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Establish relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Work weekends, holidays and varying shifts.
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living.

Job description

As aCommunity Driver with Alpine Way, as part of the Life Enrichment Department you’re responsible for transporting our residents to a variety of locations and ensuring that their ride with you is as comfortable as possible.

What we look for in a Community Driver:

• If operating a large bus of sixteen or more passengers, must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
• Compassionate individuals with a positive attitude, willing to offer physical assistance as needed
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision‑making skills

What you can expect to do as a Community Driver:

• Transport residents to and from various locations, i.e., medical appointments, stores, banks, scenic drives and social events
• Perform or assist in routine preventive maintenance procedures on the vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer
• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff Inform the Life
• Is subject to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living

Position Requirements:

$17.50 - $19.50/hour
*Depending on Experience
