Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking a qualified mental health professional to provide therapy services across age groups within the assigned service area in Ohio. The role involves direct patient visits, developing and updating treatment plans, and meticulous progress notes.

Ideal candidates have a social work or counseling degree and an active license. Travel and reliable transportation are required, with opportunities for supervision and continuing education through ViaQuest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field plus one year therapy experience or Master's in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
• Licensed Social Worker or equivalent: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMFT.
• Experience in therapy and counseling preferred.
• Home-based/care setting experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the service area.

Responsibilities

• Providing patient visits as scheduled.
• Ensuring treatment plans are up to date for each client.
• Completing comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
• Communicating and following up regarding client status.
• Working collaboratively with case management and psychiatric services.

• Providing patient visits as scheduled.
• Ensuring treatment plans are up to date for each client.
• Completing comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
• Communicating and following up as needed regarding the client's status.
• Working collaboratively with those providing case management and/or psychiatric services.

Requirements for this position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field with one year of therapy experience or a Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
• Social Work/Professional Counseling License or equivalent: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMFT.
• Experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
• Experience within a home setting is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
