Job summary

Pressley Ridge in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Therapist – Community Based to provide individual and family therapy in office, home and school settings. Working closely with the Program Supervisor you will help deliver high-quality behavioral health services, complete required documentation and participate in quality assurance activities within the Intensive Family Service Program.

Qualifications

• Requires BA in mental health field; Master’s preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• At least 1 year of experience with children/families.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral procedures.
• Clearances including state police and FBI checks.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and family therapy in a culturally sensitive manner.
• Maintains caseload and completes program documentation as required.
• Collaborates with supervisor and team to ensure quality services.
• Coordinates with Family Resource Specialist; testifies in court when requested.
• Documents progress notes, treatment plans and closing summaries.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work or related

Master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work or related (preferred)

Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle

Minimum of one year working with children and/or adults and families

Clearances: State Police; FBI; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter training
