Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret plans and procedures.

• Ability to communicate and advocate participant preferences.

Responsibilities

• Assist participant to develop and engage in meaningful activities.
• Provide supports identified in participants’ approved plans.
• Ensure safety and well-being during all program activities.
• Provide personal care including assistance with restroom use, hygiene, meals, and minor medical issues.
• Encourage participants to communicate their preferences and advocate for themselves.
• Provide transportation for participants as needed.
• Administer routine medications under RN supervision.
• Observe agency policies and guidelines.
• Provide substitute staffing as needed.
